Book Review: The Hardest Peace, by Kara Tippetts

Hardest Peace cover

Hello again, savvy savers! Today finds us with another great book review, and this time its The Hardest Peace, by Kara Tippetts. This book follows the author, a woman currently battling cancer, and her struggle to find peace and prosperity in the midst of disease, indifference, and indecisiveness about the future of herself and her family. The common theme of the book centers on the idea that, he hardest peace is fixing our eyes on what is unseen.  The hardest peace is believing that “though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials, these have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”

This book is a mist read for anyone enduring struggles in their current season of life.
