Hello again, savvy savers! Today finds us with a new product review, and this time the Reusable Baby Food Pouches Review!
These awesome baby food pouch can go in the dishwasher, are easy to fill, and are freezer-safe, too; but keep in mind that if you have a younger baby and you freeze five ounces worth of food, you need to plan to use it within about a day of thawing it. So you might want to freeze baby’s favourite food – not one with which you’re experimenting.
These pouches, made of heavy-duty, puncture-resistant phylate- and BPA-free food-grade plastic. Yes, it’s still plastic, but it’s as good as it’s gonna get.
Keep in mind, here’s only one size: five ounces. While this amount is fine for an eight month old, it’s on the small side for a two year old who can suck back squishers like it’s a death-row meal. Also, these bags feature a leak-resistant double zip seal closure means that I worry about spillage.
Also, these pouches make good puree snacks to help myself get down hard-to-swallow vitamins, too! These are just awesome!
