Book Review: Let There Be Light Board Book, By Archbishop Desmond Tutu

Hello again, savvy savers! Today finds us with a new book review, and this time it’s, “Let There Be Light Board Book,” By Archbishop Desmond Tutu.  This book is just the most precious book I have read this year! The book focuses on the days of creation in ultra simple language that even the youngest children will be able to follow and identify with. The author ties God’s creation in beautifully with his love. The first page starts out with “In the very beginning, God’s love bubbled over when there was nothing else – no trees, no birds, no animals, no sky, no sea – only darkness. Out of this love, God spoke. ‘Let there be light.’” What truly makes this book are the lively illustrations of Nancy Tillman; this book is just stunning in it’s various collages and depictions. Children will love it.
