Book Review: It’s a God Thing, Volume 2: When Miracles Happen to Everyday People by Don Jacobson

Hello again, savvy savers! Today finds us with another great product review, and this time its the book, It’s a God Thing, Volume 2: When Miracles Happen to Everyday People by Don Jacobson.

It’s a God Thing, Volume 2, sponsored by K-Love Radio Networks, is one of the nations largest Christian radio stations, and this book follows in this tradition.  The books author, Don Jacobson, with his twenty-eight years in publishing included serving as the president and owner of Multnomah Publishers, oversaw the production of more than 1,000 titles and the sale of more than 100 million books. He and his wife, Brenda, have four adult children.

It’s a God Thing Volume 2 contained 58 stories. It was an extremely fast read for me, a book filled with simple, easy-to-follow life lessons, that will remind you just how much God is with us everyday.

Stories include:

  • A young boy who made a full recovery after being trapped under water for seven minutes
  • A mother, compelled to drive across town, who found her nine-year-old son stranded and alone at a busy intersection
  • A young boy who made a full recovery after being trapped under water for seven minutes
  • A man who was mysteriously pulled from a broken truck as it sailed over a ravine

This book is a great read, and would make a clever holiday gift as well!
